window regulator removal
 
any one know how to pull a window reg? i striped some teeth (top 3) on the arm. from a quick look they look rivited in, but i hope im wrong.

you are correct. they are riveted in. you will have to drill the rivets out that holds the glass, then drill out the ones on the regulator. think there are 5. i had to do this at a jy a few weeks ago, and it took all of 10 minutes to get them out. it's not hard to do. hardest part is figuring out what position to get the regulator in so it will slide out the hole. installation can be done with 1/4" bolts.

cool thanks man, any recomendations for position of the glass when drilling the rivets for the window

it will probably have to be close to down to get to the rivets. once your door panel and dust liner is off, it'll be pretty obvious. after you have the window separated from the regulator, slide the window up and tape it in place.
