Not sure if the EX column will fit or not, but if it does....
For a manual trans, this real Italian leather shifter boot is awesome.

Found here..FORD EXPLORER shift boot source - RedlineGoods shift boots

For the manual trans, just have it come out the floorboard to the side. Might have to bend the shifter a bit or change the linkage set up under with a little fab work.

Good luck, hope you can get it to fit so you can do some nice mods.

Dan....

a 1354 manual case WILL NOT work with the FL Expo console. This is because the stick will be coming out of the floor right in the middle of the console where it's the fattest. BUT....there are ways that you can make it happen....

RangerExtreme made some 3" or so spacers for the linkage, thus putting the stick more towards the driver and used an F150 floor plastic and boot. His setup was inspired by Rwenzing's which was a full size case(1356?), modified F150 bezel, while still using the expo full length.

Or take a peek at PlumCrazy's setup.....he cut a little bit of the bezel at the floor, then just used a modified upper handle so it went towards the driver, then back up to clear the full length console.

I'll get some pics together of their setups, but for now, take a peek at the Manual Transfer Case social group on our site:

RangerExtreme's setup: modified RBV linkage that moves handle towards driverside, used an F150 bezel, boot, and I think he even used the top half of a fiddy shifter and mated it to the ranger/expo linkage. Scott used the RBV 1354.

Scotty's was inspired by Rwenzing's....Bob used a fullsize tcase(since he's 5.0'd) and I believe all the associated full size linkages, bezels, boots, but....also used an Expo fulllength...

This center console came from a junked 97 Mountaineer. It has been repainted satin black to match the rest of the interior. The armrest/lid is in the process of being repaired and will soon be recovered in black Naugahyde.

The lower driver side of the console was heated and reshaped to clear the shifter boot and bezel.

PlumCrazy is also running what you would run, a 1354 RBV case....and he's running modified linkage that kicks the shift arm over then back up to clear the Expo console. I can't seem to find a post to quote of his, but he's posted all his pics and I think some info over in the Manual Transfer Case Ranger social group. Best way to get ahold of him is hitting him up at The Ranger Station....he's there alot more than here and he may even have a project log showing it and what was done. Here's some images from it of his setup...

EDIT: Page 8 of his project log over at TRS covers the Tcase swap.... http://therangerstation.com/forums/s...t=55201&page=8

Keep in mind that INT3RC3PTOR is using a BW4406 F/S case behind his 5.0 / 4R70W combo, so everything is different including the shift linkage and the shifter's lateral position on the tunnel. The stock shift linkage of the BW1354 Ranger t-case would bring the shift lever up through the edge of the Explorer console - right where it is most difficult to deal with. I am sure that an offset shifter as used by PlumCrazy would be more applicable to your truck.

Here is whats in my rig. It is a hybrid of sorts...1350/1354 combined, reworked to accommodate a 3" body lift/FSC for my EX. I am sure it can be done for a Ranger. This has been in a couple of Explorers and rwenzing probably knows the crazy fabricator that made it...lol

we made a whole new shift arm for Scotts (RangerExtreme) Truck. Looked something kinda like this.

3 inch towards the driver and 3 inch taller to compensate for the bodylift. Then i believe he used some of the 150 parts too at least the top part of the arm to keep it looking stock.

Bob your truck is amazing and so tastefully done, its very impressive! I was just thinking the other day a full length console would be awesome but i forgot all about the Twin stick issues and losing my Level II bezels. LOL I guess thats out.
