Yup another fancy interior swap... need some help though...

ok well about a week ago i grabbed some seats out of an 02 expo sport and a shorty console out of another expo. those all went in fine and work great. i also picked up an ohc with auto dimming mirror and lighted visors out of yet another expo. (yeah i cleaned house...). anyways, i got all the stuff for the ohc mounted and chose not to deal with the mirror cuz mine is fine for me and i think it looks a little cleaner. i have a 2006 4.0 4x4 and i think i got everything plugged in in the right places but my ohc screen isn't working so can someone help my out where all the wires are supposed to be plugged in under the dash? i think i was supposed to grab a wire out of a brown plug some where but i couldnt find that plug. also if i ran the power wire to the battery should the screen turn on? i know its alot to read but any help would be greatly appreciated.

heres a pic of the seats with my dog "inspecting" them to make sure this mod will be tolerated lol

The black/gray wire on that brown plug is on the passenger side footwell up by the fuses. It will be the bundle of wires that runs through the firewall.

Any mods needed in order to install the seats? I've tried to put 03 Explorer seats into my 08 Ranger and the mods would have to be extensive.

95-01 explorer and up to 03 ex sport/sport trac should all pretty much bolt up for all ext cabs. reg cabs are a different story.

yeah the only weird thing with these seats is the seat belt is on a track that bolts to the trans tunnel. its only a few inches away from the bolt for my center seat belt so im just goin bend up a piece of steal to go from bolt hole to bolt hole just to make sure nothing fails if i do get in an accident.

I know on my regular Explorer seats they had the same thing. Seat belt on a rail connected to tunnel. What I did is take the belt off the rail and bolt it to the side of the seat. There was an exposed metal spot on the side with some holes already there. Don't know how they are on the other versions of explorers (sport track).

If the display isn't lighting up , it could be a lose resistor in the circuit board. Mine got loose and I re soldered it and it works fine now.
