Looks like fun. I wish I could have gone. The Cherokee just not ready , but after yesterday it is a heck of a lot closer I got the CB installed, and half of my small 2 inch lift I need to get a spring compersor to finish the front.

Just need to finish the front lift, mount the tires and get some recovery points on.

Man that looks like so much fun! Griggs, what is the little white square piece sticking out of the front left side of the cap?

I believe you're referring to Luke's original CB antenna mount he put there. My mounting piece doesn't fit on that bracket or I might have used it -- so I just used one of the ***** on the body.

Actually I originally quit using the ***** because "snap back" of branches on narrow trails was "karate chopping" my CB antennas off -- spring base notwithstanding.

But with the cap on there, it doesn't happen until after the truck has completely passed so I will probably keep using the ball.

Ahha, I was thinking maybe a vent or something, but I see how that could work.

Yes, I'm sorry you did too. Thanks for calling during the day to see how we were doing though.

You know my memory, Carl -- I know they're around here somewhere but I just can't find them...with both hands.

[hey, did I just zing MYSELF?...must be more of the age thing...]

Not a problem, I was glad to hear the truck was doing well... that is, after I regained my hearing from having you on speaker phone at first.
