There are 4 cab bolts, 2 front clip bolts and 6 bed bolts.

DO NOT LOOSEN THEM IF YOU ARE GOING TO DRIVE IT! My truck did not move once I started my BL Thursday night.

 

Justget them broke loose then tighten them back up. Breaking the bolts loose is 1/2 the work on a bl

Dang 1 month and I get my vaction

 

Theres 2 in the front, 2 about in between the pedals and your seat and then 2 in the back of the cab.

 

Well no one will believe me but I broke the driver side one lose without heating it

I just used a breaker bar Ill have to remove the jump seats to get the back ones lose then out.


I got the driver front and back lose they turn is that good enough? Dont you have to have some one hold that rubber deal on the bottom to pull them out?

 

if that rubber boot is spinning, they are Not broke loose yet btw. Mine spun and where still tight, pull the bolt completely out then put it back in with a little grease

 

DONE!

 

How am I gonna hold that rubber deal and turn the bolt?

I dont have anyone that can help me

Here is what I did. I took a big pipe wrench and put it around the metal piece above the bushing to hold it. The reason you have to hole the metal piece in place it because the bolt is threaded into it also.

 

Aight try that on wed.

Since tomorrow is our last day till next Tuesday I will borrow the pipe wrench from there.

 

Oh yeah, you have to have the front bumper off to do this. LOL

 

That's a lot easier to take off so it can wait
