I've got my dad interested in pulling the camper with his F-250 and letting me pull our quads with my truck. I'll be coming either way, but hopefully with the quads and camper.

Hmmm.....I still need to call and make a reservation......

They have a stay 3 nights get a 4th night free, so I will be staying 4 nights. Would it be better to get the 27th-31st or the 28th-1st?

I tried reading every post on this thread and I don't think I found the answers i'm looking for:

Are we able to share tent sites with multiple people? Like can there be 2 tents per site or does it have to be single?
I plan on reserving a spot real soon and wondered if it was possible and to save a few bucks.

Also, is there somewhere safe to leave belongings when out on the dunes instead of leaving everything in just a tent?

I know they allow 2 vehicles per spot. Im sure they wouldnt have a problem with having 2 tents per spot either.

You can have up to 4 people on a site, but you have to pay 7 dollars an night for each person beyond the first 2.

Mayldeen, as for the 4 nights gig, I will be arriving Wednesday night the 27th so you might want to try for that.

I carry it with me in my truck or leave it at the camp site. My f150 will be at the camp site if you need to store something. No one messes with anyones stuff. Its pretty nice and secluded in the camp area.

I called and make my reservation today.

she asked if I wanted water and electricity and I said I want a spot with the Zach Beard group, she goes, oh yeah that group is in the water and electric area.

I think we are pretty well known there.

I know it was mentioned in this thread, but there's too many pages and posts that are pointless which make it hard to find haha. I'm wondering about the required flags for riding on the dunes. I did see that they cost~$20 and I remember a post about the mounts. Is it easiest to just buy the mount and flag at a store near the park once I/we get there rather than buy one online now?

What are you mounting it too? I am guessing a truck. Easier to buy a flag at the Dunes and make a mount

Does anyone have a pic of how you would attach the flag to the mount. Is it just a screw and a nut like a CB antenna? Ive got some scrap 2" square tube, and I was thinking of just drilling a hole in it sticking it in my front receiver and calling it good.
