Truck has been in storage since January so i'll have to go over everything.

 

put it on the trailer. I'm ready.

Actually I have some steering stuff to work through but other than that I am ready.

I might and that is a big might, pull the tranny pan and install the new reverse seal i picked up 5-6 months ago. lol

hey heartdead if you planing on going we should meet up and drive down together im 2wd 2 but i would have to get a muffler to go in. cause i read u need a muffler.

 

Paul not on trucks, as long as you have an exhaust they wont know any different.

its for spark protection and noise violations, i doubt yours is that loud.

Just have front tow hooks and a hitch, you will have a blast.

 

• Change trans fluid - Doubt i'll do that for the shear factor i dont know if its ever been done.
• do oil change - Not Done
• check t-case and front diff -Not Done
• install trans gauge/mount - I'll use my scan gauge
• rotate -Done
• balance tires - Done and wow what a difference
• PACK lol... - Not Done
• Figure out the size of my rims so i can get another one for my spare (Any help would be nice)
  
• Find a place to mount the flag

 

its still 2 months away unfortunately.

 

some how i dont know if i will have time lol...

they fired someone at work and 3 people left so i got alot more hours but lol working alot and been doing HW like crazy like now..

 

cool ya my truck has no muffler but i do have exhaust hopefully they dont say anything my wife and kids might be coming dont know yet.

ask Rob, there were a few times there at first but now he doesnt have too many issues at all.

 

If you read the Silver Lake Forums they say they will not allow any Cherry Bombs in. So with that said I thinking they would not let you in without a muffler at all lol.

But I would think as long as you are not loud they won't even take the time to bend over and look.

If worse comes to worse I am sure we could clamp on a make shift exhaust just to get you in.

 

I think its one thing if its a Chevy 350 popping ang cracking at idle and another for a fuel injected 3.0 or 4.0 ranger, i dont think rob had much of a muffler at first?

with no muffler i cant see a ranger being that loud.

 

i better see if i can find a muffler just in case..
