Few things i need to know.

Will my 9FT flag square be good on the dunes? Got it for use at bundy.

Have 11 Orv sticker so thats good

Will get state park sticker when im there

What are the vouchers i hear about?

And do i need a muffler? I have all cats on

 

the vouchers are so you can be granted admission when its busy at certain times of the day so the dunes aren't packed.

i doubt youll be given any trouble for no muffler because there are buggies running on race fuel that are loud as hell

there is a bar that your trucks' flagpole has to touch before you can enter. i was stock last year and i touched. i think you will be good.

the other two questions make me have a couple of my own.
where does one get the park sticker and the voucher?
last year rob got them for me and i got my ORV at the gas station when we got there.

 

You need a spark arrestor and they will sound check you. It has to be below 99dB or 96 dB. I cant remember, ask Rob, I know he got tested a couple times last year.

We get vouchers the day before, it makes sure you get permission

You need a muffler, they will check and bust you.

At least ATV wise if your over the legal limit (and its your first time at the dunes) they will give you a day pass and tell you to fix it before you come back. If you have no muffler they will make you turn around and put one on.

 

yeah mine has been over the 97db limit as well, that was friday but they let me in all weekend without fixing it.

when u come from the camp ground and u have to turn right down the road at the entraqcne to the dunes parking lot to turn around to get in line on the right hand side of the road there will be a second entrance go in there and that is were u get the voucher. and the state park think thats no prob u can get it at the same place i beilve. i have a year round license plate tag for all state parks.

 

i have really only seen them check dirt bikes and quad they will check every one that goes through the gate of those vehicles they dont really they dont want to crawl up under and when u leave the dunes to go to the bathroom u have to go back through so they really dont waste time with the vehicles as well as if ur not dumb and dont rev the engine alot it wont bring their attention to u. there is v8 trucks out there with striaght pipes and no cats so u will be fine

 

You can get all of your tags right at the park, at the little hut where they check you on the way.

As for vouchers, you can come with the rest of us on friday night, well show you where to go.

u should be good its a odd weekend no holiday there wont be alot of people there especialy with the weather we been having
