Where the hell are we supposed to sleep? And what day should me and Ramsey be out there? I think he said he has to be back at home by Monday, and it's like an 11 hour drive just to Oregon from my house, probably another 10 or 12 hour drive just from his to mine.

 

Yeah - Bailing out definitely isn't on the list for me - I requested the days off, but being as its a weekend, I sure as heck hope I can get them off.. I think the Lodge out here can do without a weekend of me at least once :-D

 

Jimmeh, I have an RV you guys could sleep in if you can't find a place...

 

Count me In, gonna bring a buddy with his ranger, and probably head down with the guys in tacoma. throw me on the list!

Jimmeh...I offered up my yard for the night of the 22nd. I've got one spare bed in the house and two couches with recliners.

 

I would like to be back monday but if we where back at your house Monday that would be fine also. But I can be free that hole week before lol. Its going to be a quick trip for me either way. I plan on going out there next year for a couple weeks after my cousin moves back out there....

ill take a couch, recliner or floor I dont really care lol

I'm guessing Marie, Jeff Enterlastnamehere, Jesse, Jimmeh, and Bucky would be the long hawlers staying over night if ya'll wish. Got a nice big lawn with shade...perfect for a tent. Plus...if the weather is anything like it has been lately, you dont wanna be in the house. lol. I'm being somewhat picky on whos gonna stay here...sorry if that sounds blunt to the ones who are coming from a ways, but honestly, if I dont know ya...sorry.

To all those out of towners(aka Jeff, Jesse, Ramsey, Jimmeh), I'm a big fan of microbrews...bring me a sixer of your fav and I'll pay ya back!! I've never had a Cananada brew...

 

Jimmeh - you two could always stay a night in Seattle if you want... I'm kinda thinking we could even set up beds in the garage for the night for anyone from MT or Cananada.

Also Shane or Trevor - Are there any campgrounds in the area? I mentioned earlier that the ones I know of are booked but if there are some other ones maybe we all camp? That way anyone who wants to could stay without imposing on Shane's lawn....

 

I know there's a couple up Mt. Hood about an hour from my place eastward...legal campgrounds in this area are sorta few and far between. I'll look into it.

 

My sister is probably gonna want me to stay at her place, but the way I figure is that I am hanging out with her all next weekend, so she can miss me for another.

I am hoping to land this side job with a buddy of mine. If I get it, I HOPE it doesn't happen that weekend.

 

Oxbow Regional Park is about 15 mins from my place, and about 10 mins from the Blue Lake meet location.

I'm going to scope it out tomorrow and take pics and such. I've got some info about the place, been yearssss since I've been there...so I'm gonna check it out to determine if it'll work out for us. Camping there would be pretty cool. Stay tuned for a thread bump tomorrow in the AM since it's HOT as hell here and I wanna go early. lol.

 

Mmk... anyone interested in camping lets get this rollin'... I checked on a place called Paradise Point State Park. It's in WA off of I-5 and it's like 17 mi. north of the state line so should only be 30-40 min from Blue Lake. This place is right up against the freeway, super easy to get to/from, and their reservation site says there are a ton of available spots for that night. I guess if you're interested in camping PM me so I can figure out how many spots. It should be pretty cheap anyway but if we can double/triple up in sites that would be even better... it looks like it's $27.50 per site and I think the extra vehicle fee is like $5.00 each. Max is 8 people/3 tents per site. If I get a better idea of who's interested we can get that ball rolling......

We need a count to figure out how many campsites we'll need.

I'm scoping out this location in the morning instead of my proposed location...I like this new one better anyhow.

Those are about the only rules that really apply to us. Proposed camp place is approx 35mins from Blue Lake northward, so better for the long haulers coming from Cananada or ND or MT.

Actually, it is mine. Good luck finding it in the garage. I remember it being nice size though....and yes i'll rent it out

 

I also have 2 tents that would each comfortably fit one person. I can toss those in the back if I need to... I really need a count thought guys 'cause I wanna get these spots reserved before it's too late. LET ME KNOW ASAP!!
