Next time, go to the market and get some of the carne asada seasoning in the big plastic shaker jar thingy. Get some gallon zip lock bags and some beer and meat.
pour some beer into that gallon bag, pour some random liberal amount of seasoning in the bag and throw some carne asada in there and shake it up. let it sit in the crisper of the fridge overnight.
Next day cook it. Its ****ing awesome and oddly enough, it kinda smells like pizza spices.
