Hey Darren,

How's it going? You wouldn't happen to have a place where I could store my 2009 Ranger for about a month would you.

Does anyone know of a place where I could at least take some parts off of my truck without having the Home Owners Associations called on me.
(note to self ... never live in a place with a HOA)

If you're only visiting there then HOA can't do anything. You're not there permanently. Home owners association, not home visitors association, lol.

However if you do have a permanent stay there, see if your HOA even has any legal footing. In my neighborhood, before it was dissolved, we had no legal footing which means we couldn't force anyone to do anything.

Curious, what in the world kind of parts could make HOA get on you?

Hey there,

Thanks for the tip ... I never thought HOA was that bad, but according to oorah54 they wouldn't allow him to have a wrecked vehicle in his driveway.
Now, I'm thinking the better thing to do is dis-mantle the truck. Take the parts I need and put them in the beds of the trucks and then haul off the rest of the truck to the scrap yard. The main problem is that I can't haul two Ford Rangers at one time and I'm not thrilled about making two separate trips to Savannah, GA.

Now it makes sense. No wrecked vehicles is reasonable, I suppose. I thought they were getting upset over a horn or some KC lights, lol.

I would get a small trailer, something a Ranger could easily handle but also large enough for the parts you need to haul, and effectively make it one trip; or use a bigger vehicle for a bigger trailer if you have either of those things.

Well, all plans have changed ... CoPart tried to rip me off. CoPart is basically a legalized crime network. If you don't believe me, go to the Facebook page called CoPart Sucks and read about how many people they have scammed. Their buyer fees are through the roof now and they rip people off every chance they get.
