Many new members from Minnesota have Joined R-F !
How would a Fall meet sound? I was thinking the weekend Directly following Thanksgiving.
That way, everyone is Home from school, work, etc...

I was thinking either Friday, November 26, or saturday, November 27.
Ideas on where to meet greatly appreciated!

Best laid plans Yada...

I'm up for anything. I'd say shoot for off roading or something in Western wisconsin, like Grantsburg. But Since we can't even get our crap together for a parking lot meet, maybe keep it simple!

What is in Grantsburg and can I justify driving 90 miles each way to get there?

Nothing just a lot of Trails through the woods, It is where we went in high school to off road on weekends, it is only 35 miles from where I grew up. I just threw it out there. It is redneckville. Not a good time to go though as it is hunting season. Same goes for Carlos Avery.

They are Members of the Swamp bucks Off road club, this is just a test track in their back yard, but for us it could be fun. His Feep (Early bronco Frame with jeep body) is far to capable for this track, It is geared way down and has a holley projection system. I have rode with him through dresser before and man that is enough to make you want to build one.

I have videos too, I am uploading now. Not the greatest vids but you can see the whole track.

If people in this club won't drive to North Branch to off road then there is no hope, Might as well go to an abandoned Denny Hecker dealership and use the ramps for the display cars and call that off roading. Thats as close as you get in the metro.

Read the last few posts on the the first page. It is just a possibility my Friend Brought up at the last "meet". His in laws are off road enthusiasts and they built basically a test track for testing out new setups in their back yard. My buddy thinks he can talk them into letting us on their, but I for one am not holding my breath. I have been on their many times, but I just don't think he would let ten people he doesn't know bring their rigs in there. It would be a liability. But who knows.

Now he lets all of Scotts friends use it on Scott's son's Birthday every year, maybe if you all buy a gift and pretend to be friends! LOL

I would be down for a meet. However it would have to be in the cities and in the early afternoon during the weekend. I work nights so I have to be to work by 6PM in W. St. Paul.
