okay... well, CB (Citizen's Band, or as the amateur radio crowd calls 'em, Chicken Band) radios operate using amplitude modulation in the lower end of the 11m or 27MHz section of the radio spectrum. the intelligence (heh.. probably a misnomer on this band!) is combined with a carrier signal centered on the channel's frequency to create a symmetrical wave comprised of both carrier signal and the modulated audio signal. this is often referred to as a double sideband full carrier (A3E) signal. ...are ya with me still, Hoz? Hoz?? dang, where'd he go? |

2m=2 mile 11m=11 mile i think is what that means. turbo you have a class A CDL? i'm gonna try to be at this meet we'll have to see
|
or maybe if i read every worf in the thread you explained it lol
|
actually, 2m = 2 meter, and 11m = 11 meter, as in the wavelength of the frequencies that the radio operates on.
CDL? perhaps I do, but it's not necessary to drive a Ranger! LOL |
well i mean at my work you have to have a class A CDL to buy a 10m & ^ radio
