nope bout to meet up at the carwash with him and another buddy from work and detail our vehicles since the wind yesterday put 4 inches of sand on everything.

 

No joke. I just finished detailing mine. It's not the best, but It'll do. The thing thats bugging me is the under carriage. I need to paint the frame. No time today. Now I have to go to work till 11.

You can get a new one at most any parts store. Like I said in the other thread, you will need a new CV axle.

 

Yeah, after seeing the picture......You're going to need a new one.

 

that sucks man. i hate to see things like that happen. hopefully you can get it fixed and come down, if not good luck on fixing it!

 

If you can find a way to limp it down here with the new CV axle in hand we can put it on in the morning. That is if you need help.

I would just get a new shaft, you need to take the old one in so you don't have to pay a core fee, don't forget to take your spacer off the old one. You can have that thing in and out in a hour if you can get the new cv shaft

 

yeah, get the new assy, and then drive w/ no left cv and we can get it together, just make sure to bring your tools lol

 

Last I knew Koyn wasn't able to find a new CV axle so it looks like he won't be coming.

Had fun today; glad to finally meet everyone. We need to find a better spot to go and make plans to meet again. Only next time my truck won't be nice and shiny. That way I only have to wash it once.

had to stop in tularosa and wash off all the sand lol. just made it home had a blast. there was 5 of us and another guy with a powerstroke.

 

Me too. Yeah, that trail was ok, but I'm sure there are better. I agree on the cleaning.
