starting up this thread cause it hasnt happened yet, this is the weekend after labor day weekend

friend is letting me borrow a quad

so lets go!!!

 

ill go to pisbro, but i might get stuck in the sand LOL

 

my friend made it pretty far in an 01 s10 dropped 2/3 on low pros with 2 quads in the back only had to be towed out of the campsite when they left a few years back

i just gotta buy a flag for the quad (thats my friends rental fee) .... take off the camper shell ... and hope i can still fit my cooler in the truck somewhere with the quad back there.

 

Remember that you have to pay to stay the night.

 

yea thats fine, last time we went (apr 2008) it was in the low $20 per night unless thats changed?

sounds good ... you thinkin of coming? ... the quad im borrowin is a 300 utility kawasaki (i think) .... so i just will be cruizin no jumps or nothin.

 

I might be going already next month but I'm not sure.

 

Ill be there. Reservations might have to be made to camp for the night. If you want I will swing by this week and ask or I can just call.

 

we didnt need reservations last year ... but yea if you wanted to call that would be fine

I forgot to get back to you. I called the san luis obispo parks and rec and was told that reservations at this time are not a necessity but It would help to make sure you dont get turned away. If you want I can make reservations

 

what the hell? when did they change the overnight from $10 to $25?

anyway, i'm going to mojave that weekend. can't join.

 

depending how long your staying there on that sunday maybe ill stroll for a day trip

 

looks like im chillin with the folks that weekend too ... they are going on vacation wednesday so friday i have to take his jeep up for him, and next weekend i gotta bring it back
