Carlisle Ford Nationals 2012

OK folks, I know June is still a long ways off, and it was 10 degrees here today, but i just made my motel reservations and registered for the Ford Nats in June. Anybody else planning on going this year? It'd be great if we could have a strong turnout this year.
Who's going, who's showing?

Jeesh, Adam---I thoght my 8-1/2 hour drive was long!! You should definitely try to make it and show that awesome truck of yours!
Totally worth it though. It's the only REAL vacation that I take nowadays.

I might be there, i was there last year, but this year ill be in france up until the end of may/beginning of june. so im going to try, because my truck will be in pa, cuz im flying out from school. I'm also not sure which truck I'll have there, either the ranger or the 350. probably wont show either because i'll have all my dorm crap in the truck and i wont have time to wash it or anytthing. I guess i'll know sooner once i get my itineray for france

1. in the beginning stages of an SAS and an 8.8 swap, turbo and injectors, and new engine mounts. so depends if i can get everything done in time.

2. work is busy in the summer so i can get off for one usually, and the drive sucks lol all highway i get so bored...unless of course there is a group heading out. kind of playing it by ear for right now, there is a chance i might make it to both.

I'm the same way, Adam. I bleed Ford blue, so I'd much rather spend a weekend 450 miles from home looking at 2500 Fords than looking at a bunch of monster Rams and lowered Toys. That said, if I could make both, I would; but since i can't, Ford Nats wins hands down.

I was there with the ranger, I always park up by the rock crawl on the hill. I'm sure I'll do the same this year.
