Sweet. I'll tap mine later this month probably. I need to find my tap and dye kit. I no longer have all my tools at my new work.

im just glad your gonna have your trailer. Im giving mine hell, and if my trans goes i may need a ride to the local ford dealer. im not putting shocks and deavers on this thing to "taker easy"

just need a 29/64 drill bit and the 1/2x20 tap. Luckily a friend of mine had the bit. Its an odd size and i couldn't find one at 3 different local hardware stores

right on, its their to be used. At some point I need to find a lesser duty "car" trailer to use. The bobcat trailer of my Dads that I use is a heavy bastard in itself to tow.

I cleared mine out with a Uni-Bit last year. So the size should be close. mines Aluminum, so threading it won't be too hard.

Yep, Fremont ford is probably the closest. I can always use my ford roadside that will take it there for free, but i wont get it out of the dunes using that, or off their property. But considering i have power train warranty, why not if she goes.
The battery and locker sitting beside my bed has made me depressed that i am without my truck as they sand, and spray the bedside. G-Dam the thought of that just bugs the crap out of me...

This is the first time in the body shop. I decided to play bumper cars in the driveway one day, took some paint off the bed side. I guess I was a little depressed when I dropped $950 to fix both cars.
Its only been to the dealer once, and that was because chevy doesn't tell you that the 5.3 is a very high efficiency 2-stroke. Chevy is pretty cool though, they gave me 2 years of oil changes and roadside assistance, and a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty, something that Ford couldn't even come close to. Not to mention a much more comfortable truck......
