careful how you say that, the dunes change rapidly. I saw some killer pics of the dunes back 10-15 years ago and it was COMPLETELY different, huge ruts, it was nuts, no room for 2wds then.

Now saying that they could be just as easy as last time or 10x harder.

I will only go to the dunes sunday if we have to buy permits on wednesday night. If we dont need permits on wed. night then I will do daily permits and I dont want to pay another $8 for a half day. If we do have to pay on wed. then I will get a year permit.

We didnt go out on sunday morning this past time. I am a little wary of going out because if something breaks you have no time to fix it before hitting the road.

I couldn't get time to leave wed so I had to do Thursday. What do you mean by having to get permits or not on wed? Yeah I dont have to worry about my truck driving home so thats why I figured I'd play a bit on sunday, but thursday, friday, saturday might be enough playn for me anyways I suppose

State park permits. Daily they are $8. yearly permits are $29 (until Dec 31, not 12 months like MN). I wish I would have bought a yearly back in MAy but I didnt think I was going to be going back again.

I got my reservations. I will going up on Wednesday night and staying until Sunday! One more month and alot more work on the truck to do!

front bumper?

yeah I just made a new rear bumper, and now I need to pick up some 1/8" plate to make my front. So if anyone wants to buy my stocker front bumper I can bring it to the meet. Ive got that some mud flaps, step bars(minus the hardware i think) and a stock 4.0 exhaust of Aarons to sell haha

I need a valance!!!! Are those step bars for a 2 door or 4 door. How about that old read bumper, are you thinking of selling that?

they are for an extended cab, the stock black ones. The bumper is in really rough shape, and I cut the mounts off of it. Be better off just having me make a new one.

i think i' going to try and make it up for the day on saturday. i would like to meet up with you guys and check out your trucks. i was just at the dunes two weeks ago, don't know if the GF would make the trip with me or not.
