If I go probably won't have the ranger this time. Not sure I'll have it done by then, wanted to have it tore down and built up good over a while.

Well, that's okay. You can ride in my Ranger... in the bed.

There's a nice F-250 for sale near me... late 80's, early 90's vintage. I can get a closer look at it if you want.

Or a F-350 stake bed dually, same vintage as the aforementioned F-250... pretty good shape but needs a gas tank and a couple small things taken care of. They want a lot of money for it though.

Is there anything I need to do to the Ranger before I go there? I know an ORV sticker is a must, as well as a flag. Where do I get those?

Is it a must to mount the flag to the front bumper?

And someone asked if anyone was bringing tools. Well, I reckon I am gonna bring a few. I'll have to make a list of what I think might be handy to have.

You should have pm's him the truck info incase he doesn't see it in here.

Yes you need a flag, yes it has to mount to the front of your vehicle. They sell flags and mounts at the gas station/parts places up there along with your stickers.

Make sure it's in running condition. The people who go are pretty helpful and are a good bunch of guys.

You better make it work Kewn.

He is right, 98+ with less than, or near 100k.
I'm gonna go look at this 01 with 80k on it later this week. only $4600.

Stupid me forgot one more question... how much do these flags/mounts run?

I already found out the ORV sticker is 16.25...

I think I Paid $20 or so for mine. It's a two piece so I can put it in my bed w/o it sticking out.

Phew! I was thinking they'd cost me an arm, lol.

Cool.

Gonna have to build the front bumper ASAP... and replace all of the leaf spring mounts and shackles. Planning on Chevy 1500 leafs in the back...

X2.

It's a sign, "it's not even released yet....!" means you don't need it. Go find a stock truck w/ the headphone aux jack, add it to your truck (cus I know your good w/ wires) then buy a male to male cord (no pun intended...) bam!

Ya just did both.
