Nothing happened on "the mac" it was the extra 4 hours it took us to get home and the bear that andy hit on the way.

saturday afternoon is awfully late. I would shoot for saturday morning or friday night. You can camp on my spot if you want, $10 a night.

I agree with Matt, getting there saturday afternoon won't allow you much time at all. By the time you get your stickers, and flag it will barely be worth it. I would suggest shooting to arrive friday night if possible to get to hang out and have all saturday to wheel.

I was just talking to some guys that went up there and the locals are saying this is either the best sand they have ever had or the worst.

So many people are getting injured or killed up there since they opened. The sand has changed a lot over the winter. Should be interesting. It might flatten out some by may, depends on the rains.

A friend of mine that went came home with broken ribs and a collapsed lung.

mainly 4wheeler riders, getting bucked off by dips or ledges that you cant see because it is so windy and soft sand.
