I have to work Sunday until 1-1:30pm. I am very close to Oceanside at Camp Pendleton. So, depending on what time you guys meet up, I might be able to make it out. But, I have to make sure I get my homework done today I guess. Sunday afternoon is when I usually get my homework done because it's due Sunday night. I guess let me know what time and where you're meeting on Sunday and I'll let you know if I can make it.

I have family flying in from Indiana on the 16th, so I won't be able to do anything next weekend. Will be driving up to San Francisco area. MAYBE the weekend after, but I'm not entirely sure when they are flying back.

Maybe in a couple weeks will be good. We'll keep trying, eventually we'll get a decent meet together.

Hey quick question for you guys... any of you have a body lift? I'm thinking about doing one soonish.. in the next month or 2. And I would like help from anyone who has experience doing it, so maybe a BL meet would be in order... I'll provide the beer, haha. I just bought some 33's, and am itching to get them on.

Right on. I'll keep that in mind when I actually get the kit. If I don't blow all my money next week on vacation, I might get the body lift before I go home, and be ready to put in on mid-late June at the latest. I kind of like my steppie actually. Just hard to find stuff for it w/o a lot of trouble.. like a toolbox for one. Why?

damn, I leave the LA area and go back to Chicago on the 29th. It be sweet if we could get some sort of a meet before then, but if it doesnt happen until after, thats totally cool.

I'll probably end up coming back out here sometime anyway, depends if any jobs are available.

For those who dont have a facebook, its a playboy comedy show in beverly hills, ca. Its a free event, no cover and no minimum drink purchase.

It made me laugh, it was one of those ads on the side. It seems pretty sweet anyway. If your low and cash, and want to see some live comedy and some hott girlz here ya go!
Anyway, for all who are interested here you go:

Hey guys, i had a catastrophy saturday night. my tranny took a dump on me. its sitting on the side of the road on bundy canyon rd by the 15 north on ramp. if n e one can help me tow it to oceanside it would help me a lot. also if n e one has an extra tranny or knows of one for sale for cheap that would help too. its a 5spd 4x2 out of a 95 3.0 v6 single cab.

That sucks dude, I don't have any way to help you tow it, or else I'd help out, and I have no gas until thursday when I get paid. I'll keep an eye out on craigslist for a tranny for ya tho.

On another note, I did spend the rest of my money this paycheck on a body lift, so I should have that by the end of this week. I also talked to my brother, I think that my mom and bro are flying back to Indiana early Saturday morning on the 24th, if so, I would be available to do a meet up then if that works for anybody else. Maybe do a BL meet up. BL, grill out, beer, off-road... not in that order of course, haha.

Haha, yea, it was kind of a spur of the moment thing. I bought some 33x12.5's on 15x8 rims last week for 500 bucks, and I saw a 3" BL kit on here for 125... couldn't pass either of them up. Definitely happened sooner than I had anticipated. It's actually a kit for 98-2000, but all I need to pick up is a different fuel filler neck extension because the diameter is different than mine. But other than that, I'm told the kit is exactly the same as the 01+. If it doesn't work, I can always sell it to someone else.
Btw, Three days grace is awesome live, I'm gonna see them, bullet for my valentine, and puddle of mudd at the end of may in Indiana. And, I won't be able to do the BL til the 24th after my family leaves.

http://www.mccscp.com/home/Files/pdf...r_Brochure.pdf

That's the link for the auto skills center near me. $6 a day for a bay. $5 an hour for a lift. It's usually pretty busy. I'm almost positive you need a military ID and proof of insurance for the vehicle. Also, I think the ID holder has to be on the insurance policy or they won't let you inside the gate. It doesn't say on the brochure, but I called to check, It's $35 a day for the dolly. And they are closed on Wed/Thurs, so if I were to check it out on Tues and kept it until Friday, I would be charged for the days they aren't open and can't return it.

Also John, found these... not sure if they will work or not, but you can always call. And I'm also not sure what is closest to you, I was just doing a broad search in a couple different counties.
