I can't afford it either, but I keep spending the money. Tires are in the bed, cleaned out a little of the junk in the back seat, non tool related anyway. Ready to get started tomorrow.

well ryan came out to my place in menifee again today to do his body lift. we are about 1/3 done. so first thing in the morning we are going to start back at it. we are at the point where we are actualy going to undo the body mounts and lift the cab and bed. pics coming tomorrow. so far i think there will be four or five of us tomorrow so if anyone is interested pm me and ill give you my number and directions. the plan is if we finnish early enough then we will hit a couple trails and have a B.B.Q. tomorrow looks like fun see you guys there if not then i guess you'll just have to settle for some pictures.

Well, well. I'm sore all over, that BL kicked my ***. My hands hurt so bad today that I can barely tie up my boots. Everything went well, only a few minor issues. Big thanks to John, his grandpa, and his dad for helping out until the wee hours of the night. All I have to do is fix the fuel filler neck, get that ground strap so it's not so ghetto rigged, and get the rear jumper seats back in. Trucks looks badass... will get some pics up later when I get to work and take more.

Btw... truck runs good. I can feel a little bit of power loss with the bigger tires, but that's to be expected. It's not that bad. Tires have a little wobble because they need to balanced and the air pressure needs to be tweaked. Steering felt tight, no play, exactly as it should. Brakes work great btw. And... yea... an alignment, speedometer calibration, and balanced tires, and it'll be perfect.

Yeah I noticed some wobble when I was following you but that vac line we broke last week was giving me some good pinging so I couldn't follow close for a better look. Like you said everything went well enough and should be perfect after some adjustment. I'm glad your alright and everything worked out our lunch is still a fing brick in my gut sigh I love potato salad. Not bad for a fat guy and a pretty boy who've never tryed anything like that before btw I'm sorry for melting your passinger floorbord with that map gas buddy

Just kidding

The steering felt fine, just a little wobble around 60 mph. I know it just needs balanced. But, looking around, I noticed a few minor things I need to adjust. The rear bumper needs to be pushed down a bit, and I need to adjust the bed bolts I think... it just looks a bit off. Still need to attach the fuel filler neck. I got the back seats in today.. and that's about all I had the energy for. I was too lazy to crawl under the truck again.

Hopefully the cab bolts won't move... we put the locktite stuff on em. But we'll see, it's not that hard to get the inside apart regardless. And yea, $25 - 16" channel locks to hold those damn bushings in place got those front bolts out. I figure after 500 miles or so, I will check all the bolts again just to be sure tho.

Also, silverfox on here is shipping me all of his crap he didn't use from his BL, which includes more of the fuel filler extensions, ground strap brackets, and the transmission cooler brackets that my kit was missing for $10 shipped, so I can fix that ghetto rigged mess I have going on now.

I'm debating finding someone who welds... or just using adhesive on the bed crush blocks.

I don't think I'm going to be able to make it this weekend. Friday we have a carwash fundraiser thing that is mandatory... and Saturday I have to work because we have 2 star admirals and generals coming on wednesday. The chief of chaplain's will be there.... the boss of all bosses for me. This month sucks for me at work... bleh.

Have to suck it up. We have admirals and generals in all next week for a professional development conference thing. They have some brief on monday, and then tuesday thru friday is the conference. Sucks. Oh and yea, I got your text. I got my seats... but, I am missing the T-50 torx bit to install them. The T-45 worked to get them in, but I must have left the T-50 at your place.

No doubt I understand. Just offering up what I can. Usualy menifee would be the location but that's still kinda far for you and others. Id like to get a k1 gokart raceing times compatition going for the ranger forums. They have locations in torrance anihime irvine onterio carlsbad and maybe aq couple more. That way even if we can't race together we can still compete for the best times and pro-score.
