Would ya'll be offended if I showed up in a WRX? Planning a trip to Ohio or Arkansas with a Uhaul and possibly driving back home road trip style. Might just trailer the Ranger along.....

We saw a Blue WRX out there last year.

We make Lydeen park down a ways from the campsite. So it can't be any worse than that.

Ya know what, ya dirty Canadian. Let me know when you are going to be crossing the boarder and I will phone it in to border patrol to look out for a blue ranger, as the guy driving it is trying to transport a couple kilos of coke across the border in his *******. We'll see who makes fun of the flamming firetruck then...

Eh?

I guess that will work for me, I am on leave all month so it's not like I have a set scheadule. It's only like a 6 hour drive eachway from Akron. I doubt my buddy will be able to make it with his ATVs that weekend though. I will get a phone number from whoever as it gets closer so I can meet up with the group. I'll probably swing down for friday and saturday night. And maybe bring a friend if someone wants to tag along.

UPDATE:
Booked my Yogi Bear campsite for friday and saturday. See ya'll there. I will bring lots of cash for ORV and Pass stickers haha.

Call them back and ask to be on like site 82. We're all usually in that corner there.

Lydeen and I are going to ask for 64 again.

In case anyone is wondering, 4 nights for the dates we're going is $102 for the sites we're usually on.

I also booked mine today.

7 weeks to go bump!

Lake Michigan is still ice covered which people believe will cause a late spring and summer. Would be interesting to see what the temps are going to be on the water! Might need your carhart in June. LOL

yeah we are going to have ice on our lakes in northern MN super late. hell its still single digits to below zero here at night...thats making ice. About 4ft at our lake. plus still lots of snow around. Be a nice 2 month summer again.

Hot sand would feel good on my cold feet

Hmmm, might have to pick up a thicker sleeping bag lol.

What's the fire wood situation like? Expensive? Should I bring a stack in the truck bed or is wood from out of state a big nono?

I brought wood, but it was cuts from lumber. so not strait tree wood. But nobody would really know. unless you get pulled over and they do something about it while you are driving There. I know the MI guys say the transport from the cities north is a nono, but It's always done :)
