Tampa Meet ?!?
 

Hey everyone, I'm in the Tampa Bay Area and was checking out some Florida Meet's but everyone was so far away. I'f anybody is interested we should make plans. Thanks :smileford:

ya tampa easy 2 1/2 hr drive. plus id just make a weekend of it

yea i got a grill that goes in my hitch...so we can eat and what not all we need is a where and when....lookin foward to meetn ppl

Well do we want to try and do a campin weekend or what? There's a few camp grounds around here I'm sure we can figure something out. There is just really no place to wheel at though

there is a local spot by me in hudson rocks hills mud or we could go to a WMA like citrus or richloam plenty of mud and a few washouts and there are campgrounds in both areas

im down for a trip back home depending on the weekend.

When would be a good time for everyone? I will have to let my work know a bit in advance.

march 20 maybe or april 10 are good weekends for me lol i know its kinda far away but those are the dates i am good for.

If everyone else is down, I am. Thats plenty of time for me to let my boss know.

I'm new to R/F so no meets for me yet. I usually work weekends so I need to let my boss know, but I am down for a few weekends. Someone said something about March 20, Does that sound good?

If its a wheeling trip I'll bring the truck and Jeep. I usually go camping at the Sertoma youth ranch and go wheeling out on that side. It's just off of the interstate and not that far from tampa. lots of fun and there are always people willing to take you out and show some good spots.
Mark - takes about 3 hours from Okeechobee, just due to the damn road construction right now.

hopefully my explorer will be done so Ill bring that to the meet.

What are you doin to the explorer? Depending on where we go I might bring out the atv.

Im down for off-roading but I only have a 2wd. Its a wannabe 4wd. So I may have to get pulled out WHEN I get stuck. There are a few mudholes around my area. There's two off of 301 but one is only on sundays behind the 301 Rodeo an you have to pay ten to get in. Havent been in awhile so i'm not sure how it is but last time it was decent. The other one is private property so that may not be a good idea. Does anybody else have any ideas if so dont hold back.

Same thing I did to the b2, but its just a better build. Im taking all the running gear from the b2 over to the explorer.

So about the meet, would everybody like to do lunch somewhere or is that a bad idea. It will give us a chance to get to know eachother. Maybe since im a chick that sounds good but I think its a damn good idea :) I'm down for applebee's. We need times an dates. I would like there to be a decent amount of people. Not two or three other people besides me. So lets get the word out Please an Thanks.

I'm game for when ever I only work Tuesday thru Thursday so I'm good. Victor why don't you just solid axle the ranger? Or I'll bring you mine and you can do mine.
