New to RF (pics)

Hey everyone, ive had my truck for a little while but just now jumped on the forums. I love this little truck. 2001 XLT 2WD 2.5L 5 speed manual.

I want to lift it and was thinking about getting a 3in body lift kit. and then cranking my t bars.

Let me know if you have any suggestions on lifting.

Sorry for the bad pic quality...i used my phone to take them.

Looks good and welcome. Now on to lifiting! I dont believe that is a edge unless someone has changed bumpers and such, so that means you have no t bars to crank :P. Now to each there own. But personally being its a 2wd 4 banger I would drop that thing and throw some nice wheels and tires on it, it would look sick!

fender badge says xlt. like posted, you don't have t-bars to crank. i forget what options are available for you. welcome to the site. it's gonna be recomended that if you wanna go big with your tires, you are gonna have to re-gear. some might even say to look for a 8.8 rear axle since it's stronger then the 7.5 (i'm assuming that is what you have under there) with either 3:73s or 4:10s. swapping axles is easier and cheaper then buying the gears and having them installed. the 4:10s might be the better choice if you want a 33 or larger.

there are alot of good people on this site and alot of good info.

Options:
Body lift
Spindles
Springs
Shackles
AAL
Blocks

a 2.5 with 33's is going to require more than 4.10's. To go back to a stock feel he will need 4.88's. And i would deffintley upgrade to a explorer 8.8 31 spline
