howdy, my name is eric, you can call me fordman, pete, or eric, or watever, those are my screen names on other forums, pete meaning peterbilt, fordman on most forums, and trucker_eric on my personal forum. i will be 16 in 2 days, i currently do not own a truck, but my dad has a ford ranger, 1998, 4x4, 4 door supercab with a 4.0 v6 and 5 spd auto trans. i may be getting it when i get my license, but until then, it needs a new oil pump, which requires removal of the engine, among other things. this is it currently.

Sweet. I like his truck a lot, its very well put together. Start with clear corners, they're not that expensive!

 

thanks guys, i want to put a 2 or 3" lift on it, probably with the torsion bars and leafs, and yes, maybe 31" tires on stock rims, or crager style 352's

Hey Trucker_Eric! Welcome to the club. I like the sound of the 31's on the stock wheels. There's a local guy who has the same whells and either 31's or 32's and it looks really good.

31's are whats on a truck thats around me. i wish this was a stick but its an auto. i will keep yall posted on what happens to this truck. i dont like the green or the topper, so they will both go and black paint and a diamond plated tool box will replace those.

ya, we are worring about the engine first, got to get it runnin, and it will be mine once i go to the dmv and get my license. thanks for the welcoming! FLORIDA! lol, lots of mud pits i plan to take this in.

we are pulling the engine, lol, but the exhaust wont come off so we gotta get some heat on it, we just havent picked up a bottle yet.
