33x12.5s
I have a 2008 Ford Ranger Sport 4x4 and it is fully stock other than me playing with the torsion key to fit 31s on. (Idk if it being a sport edition makes a difference for this but I know that in 2008 Ford lowered the rangers a little). But I want to put 33x12.5s on it and I am willing to do suspension lifts and spacers, just no body lifts. I am just wondering what size of lift and spacers I'll need to pull of the 33x12.5s

I run 33x10.5-15 tires with just a 1.5" torsion bar lift. I have no problems, and I do some very rough trails. Going to 33x12.5 requires either spacers or more offset wheel for clearance inside the tire. Pushing the tires out farther then requires more lift to clear the body. I don't know the size of lift, spacers or offset. If you don't get an answer here on this, try The Ranger Station website. I am sure you will get a lot of replies there on this subject. In fact, it is probably listed in the archives somewhere.

Bud
I'd be very interested to see how and exactly where your running boards attach, front and back. I have a pair that were suppose to have come off a Ranger bud I now have my doubts. Can you help? Glen, ON Canada |
