Hello all ranger enthusiast checking out this board,

After15 years of acquiring, restoring, racing, and selling classic mustangs, I have now acquired a 2003 Ranger XLT, 4.0/5speed/4WD/standard? cab/standard bed/with towing package. Previously, I posted a lot on the Vintage Mustang Forum and the Ford 6 Forum. I hope to avoid the newbie type questions that have been asked and answered here a plethora of times, by researching past threads. I am located in the D.C. metropolitan area, in Gaithersburg, MD. On last trip to Uganda I spent about a day doing catch-up maintenance on a Toyota HiLux RHD, 3.0 diesel. Persuaded me that a pick-up is what I need to haul around car parts, tow non-running mustangs, and the Ranger seems to be the best value for the dollar as a vehicle to do that activity. Presently, I am restoring the metallic red paint on the truck and adding ZeeDee nerf bars for easier access to the cab. I look forward to learning enough about the Ranger to be a help on this site.
