I'm new here so if this isn't the place to post this , where should I be? have a 2003 ranger with 3.0 engine. Fuel gauge acting up.What is the small electrical component attached to the fuel tank electrical wiring harness that has the both leads of the sending unit passing through it along with a red wire coming out of it? It is located on the wiring harness from fuel pump and fuel level sensor just outside the fuel tank
