after much contemplation ended with a 2004 Edge 2wd with 125K for general family needs. Oh and our highschool age kid will drive it daily. I was looking for 2wd ext cab with 3.0 and got that but I had no idea of all the options available on rangers, such as torsion bars or axle ratios. Mine has 4.10 which concerns me a bit for mileage. Got 17.5 mpg driving home from buying it 2.5 hrs on hwy at 70 mph.
Looking forward to learning more about rangers. First in order for me is muffler, window switch, front shocks.
