Hey guys, new here. Not to Rangers. I’ve had mine for a few year and got another for a project about a year ago. The new one id like to have it 3.7 swapped.

Welcome to the forum

Nice looking Ranger

The 5.0l(302) engine is 19" wide and 21" high, so is a snug fit in a Ranger engine bay but heater box and steering shaft can stay as is

3.7l is a DOHC engine at
27.5" wide
29.4" high
24" long

So heater box will have to go and steering shaft has to be moved, all doable
Exhaust may have to go outside the frame rails

Height, well a body lift for sure, but its 8"!!!, lol, not sure how low you can go with the motor mounts?

You CAN do anything

Found a spec sheet at UK site here: https://www.ford.co.uk/content/dam/g...cyclone-np.pdf
