Hello

Hello and thank you for letting me join your forum. I just purchased a NEW 2024 Ranger XLT on Friday 9/27/24. 2.3, 4x4, OffRoad pkg and all the electronic goodies. Sadly, when I went to take delivery the airbag light was on so i never got to bring it home to my driveway as it's still at the stealership for repairs. 15 miles on the ODO and it is already in the shop awaiting parts and repair. I hope it is not indicative of how things will go with this vehicle.

Welcome. In my opinion, it's better to happen now instead of a few weeks down the road. Nothing worse than getting it all set up for you, adding some goodies, than they take it for repairs. Plus, this will give them to go through it and find/correct anything else. You'll have a solid rig after this.

I hope youre right. Sales kid treated me like a solar door I knocker. Then he tried to blame me for the tailgate issue. They are sending the surveys and I am waiting to see hownthey uandle this before I respond. My next door neighbors are banned from this dealership because of a negative survey. Not optimistic

Once you get it back, is there any other Ford dealerships near you, you can do business with? I'm sure if you explain the situation to them, they'd be happy to take your business and hopefully treat you better. It's never good for those of us who are brand guys and gals and a dealership ruins a buyer's opinion on a brand because of their service. I don't buy brand new rigs due to these "new car bugs/issues", plus, I save by buying a few years older with issues worked out.
