Hi From Florida
Just stopping in to introduce my Ranger and myself.
My name is Kevin I live in Palm Beach County Florida.
I am a ex mechanic, currently disabled due to a bad neck and back, and many failed surgeries.
I try to keep active by working on my Ranger whenever my pain level allows me to.
MY Ranger is nothing special just a 2WD that has suffered at the hands of the previous owner " improperly completed Mods "
I have been working towards making it road worthy.
Since I have owned it, I have repaired many of the poorly done mods that effected the wiring.
I installed a new to me Instrument cluster due to mods gone wild.
I stripped the poorly done Spray bomb job done to the stock wheels and bumpers.
I just got off the computer ordering new tires and wheels from tire rack.
When they show up I will post pictures of them installed.
I replaced the factory worn and stained fabric 60/40 seat upholstery with leather.
I am still looking for a arm rest lid that is not broke to finish the console which is also getting wrapped in leather.
I stripped the headliner and recovered it.
The battery was replaced with a red top optima with new cable ends.
I treated the truck to new Alpine 5x7 speakers. and window seals, motors etc while I had the door panels off.
Everything else that has been done to the truck is pretty much standard maintenance and lots of cleaning from a neglectful previous owner.
I have been working as a commission paid automotive technician since 1985
The last ten years of work I did was spent at a Water Treatment Plant as a mechanic.
I look forward to pitching in and helping those that help themselves, yet need assistance with diagnostic and or repair information.
I do not offer silver bullets or parts hanging suggestions that may or may not
cure the problem someone is having.
If someone needs help I will be happy to help teach them, so they know what to do next time.
Its the whole " feed a man a fish and he eats for a day thing".

Welcome to the forum
LMC truck has lots of bits and pieces for Rangers.
"Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish and he eats for the rest of his life"
Good quote
And I like this one as well
"Build a man a fire, and he'll be warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life." - Terry Pratchett
Joking but it is funny
