Hello, from B.C. Canada

Looks like quite the community you guys have created yourself here.

I grew up in a "Ford Truck Family" and not being a big fan of the fullsize trucks I knew I would have my heart set on the Ranger for years to come.

I'm 18 and currently own a 2000 Ford ranger, 4x4.. I bought my Ranger at the end of June and I worked my ass off to be able to afford it.

I have a few plans for my Ranger. I want to lift it to run 33's sometime in the late spring or early summer when I get enough money. Also a few other things like replacing the flag-style mirrors as well as getting the front bumper repainted as its all chipped up.

Before my new ranger, I had a 1983 Ford Ranger, 2.8 L, Auto, RWD that I bought at the age of 15 for $300.

I didn't even know how many Kilometres was on it because it rolled over to 0 at 100,000. I also wasn't even old enough to get my license but the thing ran and it was in excellent condition (No rust at all) so I jumped at the opportunity to buy it. After all, it's my first vehicle, and whats better then owning one of the first rangers on the road.

Over the next year I did a little bit of work to get it more road worthy. Rebuilt the carb, did the valve seals, as well as a few other repairs here and there.

I Insured it the day I got my full License and it ran great and treated me well for well over a year. I sold it for $500 dollars right before I bought my new truck. Its currently for sale again by the guy that bought it off me, for how much, I have no clue.

The old and the new.

Anyways, I look forward to becoming a part of the community.

See ya around.
