Hello from Bandera, TX
Good evening. I am new to the thread. I inherited a 1994 Ranger 4x4 stepside. My brother ran off the road and bent the some of the steering components in the front. He replaced all of that and was going to get it aligned and back on the road. Unfortunately, it was his time to go and he passed away before he could finish. So far I've had some issues with shifting, running crappy, and no power, but had worked though the poor running and no power issues.
Shifting got real crazy today (I posted about that in another area). Looking forward to lots of advice and help here as I really like the truck and want to keep my brother's memory alive.... Barry |
hello barry!! I cannot help with your issue other than to say that if its a stick, crawl under and see if the linkage is still good and any shift bushings are not torn up. I am not sure what it looks like under there as I am still on the hunt for a ranger, myself.
maybe I will run into you though as I go through bandera a few times a year when I am up in leakey visiting my parents |
I'm in New Braunfels but always willing for a road trip to help!
