Wirelessly posted (Droid2)

Welcome! Nice looking truck! I removed my silencer, and it made it a little more responsive. That and it sounds a little louder. Don't know if it would void the warranty though. Guess it depends on the dealership.

They would have to prove that removing the silencer caused any problems. So no void of the warranty.

Also welcome to the site! Us vista blue guys are growing in numbers :)

Welcome

Welcome to the site from the back roads outside of Peculiar, MO.
Use your own judgement on the intake silencer. I bought an '89 Mustang GT new and drove it for 17 years and 282,000 miles. Removal of the silencer was a suggested mod for it, I tried it and noticed no improvement. Living on very bad gravel roads, I felt that it would expose the filter element to thrown rocks which could puncture it and leave my air unfiltered, it also helps the larger gravel dust settle out before hitting the filter. All this is probably moot, since you live in more "civilized" conditions.
Great looking truck, and a great time to grab a new or slightly used one due to their discontinuance in the USA market.

I was down near there for 4 months, I attempted to join the US Army, and was sent to Fort Leonard Wood for BCT. They caught me sleepwalking so they discharged me.

Easy. I got a inline connector that utilizes your antenna plug.

It's basically and iPod transmitter, but since it utilizes the actual antenna plug, the signal is excellent and so is the sound quality
