Hello From Ontario
Hey there
Hey southern Ontario! I am an hour east from Toronto,
I have previously since 2000 owned a 1985 Chev half ton 2wd loved it! Then an 88 Honda civic hatch DD loved it, Wrote it off, then a 85 honda prelude 3.5 years loved it Followed by a 1990 S15 Sonoma 4x4 loved the 4x4 hated the truck unreliable costed more monthly to repair then to buy one with payments! Sold if after 15 months went to a 1995 Nissan Pathfinder 4x4 bogged it trailed it travelled with it loved it! Also had a 1991 Toyota Tercel while I had the Nissan as a DD Reliable yet boring car.
I had the Nissan for 5 years sold it when I went to Alberts in 2008, came back to Southern Ontario in feb of 2009 got a 1990 integera beater loved it! Shopped around in 2010 and went with a 2010 2wd extd cab Ranger sport with a 4.0 5spd and air! MY only regret is not getting 4x4.
I love this truck more everyday even after having the jap cars and all the toys you get with them! I;ve always had a soft spot for Ford as my dad had Hondas in the 80s when I was growing up and a Ford which we put on 365000km on. We had chryslers and GMs growing up which I have very bad memories of being stranded with and spending fortunes on to repair!
I enjoy the out doors including mountain biking, snow boarding and camping. I work with my vehicles I pull trailers and motorcycles also lumber and fire wood etc! The trucks and SUVs are great for hauling my gear and equipment and the compact trucks are affordable and handy for the light duty hauler and DD like my self!
So far I only have a hood deflector, window vents and a tonneau cover for the highway but I have plans of adding some 31x10.5x15 for the trails and fields!
