Help with Used Ranger
 

Hey all,

i just purchased a 1999 xlt 4 banger with 163k today for $1400. It’s in decent shape but has some damage to the fiberglass on the rear left corner panel and some surface rust underneath.

My question is, what’s your experience with preventing and protecting from further rust? Would Bondo be a good choice or would something else be preferable? And as far as the fiberglass repair... well, suggestions?

i have to pull codes to see what’s up under the hood but all in all this truck is in pretty good shape and has potential.

Down the road what are some of the upgrades you’d recommend?
