Back in a truck, thank god!
Had to sell my Bronco II shortly after I got married 5 years ago 
I've been driving a Dodge Caravan(with no kids) since then 
... until... this week the "******* Waggin" threw its timeing belt and left me on the side of the road. So now I've bought a 2010 Ranger from my Father-in-Law 
Soon I hope to introduce you all to "Golfball" once I get her all cleaned up. My F-n-L is a rual route carrier and has put 60k on this truck in 2 years, almost all of those miles on Oklahoma Red Dirt Roads!(windows down!) I fully expect to lighten her by 15-20 pounds just with a throrough cleaning.
I have two quick questions:
First off anyone have some instructions on how to remove the door panels? I bet I find several inches of dirt inside there. I'm awaiting Amazon to ship my Chilton
Second, The rear cab area has what looks like two speaker grills but i'm getting no sound out of them, I'm assumeing that there are no speakers in there but would there be any possibility that Ford ran the wires for future speakers?
I love wrenching on my cars and hope I'll find a great community here.

welcome.
door panel is easy. there are two phillips head screws under the handle itself on the inside and then there is 1 more phillips head screw at the bottom corner closest to the back of the door (you'll see the hole)
then just pull the solid handle piece where the two side by side screws were and take that piece off, held on by clips so just yank on it.
there will be 1 more screw back there, you'll easily see it.
then just pull upward on the whole panel and it will pop off. it has those little hooks that hold it in the door so when you push upward on the panel from the bottom it will unhook.
