I'm new to this forum site and I don't know where to post this at . But i was wondering if someone on here could help me and my boyfriend please!
​​​​​ we have a 1998 Ford ranger XLT 3.0 4x4 and the problem started with us blowing a fuse every time we turned either one of the turn signals on. and it wasn't even the turn signal fuse it was the cigarette lighter fuse that was blowing so we constantly changed the fuse so we could use our turn signals then some of the wires down by the flasher relay box started smoking we put them out so then we went to the junkyard found a multi function switch and a flash relay and replaced the old ones and then only the hazard light switch worked and then we replaced the switch and relay and the wire harness that goes from the switch to the relay and now you hear the clicking sound of the turn signals but our hazard light turn on when we turn on either side of the the turn signals , but the actual turn signals don't work at all and the battery light flickers . We have replaced the multi function switch and the flasher relay twice and the turn signal harness and checked all fuses and relays and replaced the blown fuses we also just replaced the altenator and we can't figure it out
