Hi from State College, PA

Hi All,

Just picked up a 2011 Ranger yesterday with 34000 miles. It's great to see a community with active/helpful members. I'll be sure to check back often.

This is my first truck purchase. My previous vehicle was a 2006 Mazda3. I got tired of trying to cram a mountain bike in the back seat, and I wanted something that could easily haul my kayak and other items around.

So far I really enjoy the truck. It's dead simple, which in itself is pretty nice and I'm hoping it will be relatively trouble free over the years. Is there anything else I can do other than changing the oil that will keep this truck reliable and solid over the years? Is there anything I should be specifically looking out for to avoid problems? I owned my last vehicle for 8 years and it was relatively trouble free...I'm hoping this ranger will be the same

Thanks!
