Howdy!

I'm relatively new to my Ford Ranger, but I am starting to look into some major repairs and playing with fab ideas, so here I am to pick brains after unsuccessful forum searches.

I've had it since May 2014 and have put approximately 26k miles on it so far. I'm currently right under 210k miles.

How's everyone doing!?

Well, first I need to find out if I'm leaking coolant, and if so, where it's going.

I flushed my coolant for the first time, but unfortunately it was after the coldest day so far this winter... I'm not overheating or anything, but I'm smelling something hot and it's not in my wheels.

I've already done a little research and guessing that I'll be doing the following relatively soon: Valve cover gaskets
PCV valve
Check heater hose
Thermostat Housing
Knock Sensor

After that - with 210k miles, I am a little caution on doing too many projects.

I've always wanted a flatbed with every vehicle I've owned. I picked up a flatbed for a late 80's S10 on trade, but it's 9" narrower, wheel well is ~18 further back and end of bed is about 20" further than my tailgate. I'll either fab it to fit, leave as is, or make my own.

I've been trying to research to see when/if torsion bars start going bad. My front tires appear to be /--\ but last time I got an alignment they told me they put it to factory even though I requested that they level the truck.

So - just some projects here and there. I'm not into huge lifts or shiny mods, but mods that help my vehicle to be versatile, functional, and dependable.
