Hello everyone. My name is Jason, and I purchased my first Ranger, and it's also the first Ford I've ever owned. I was a Chevy and BMW guy until now. She's a 99 Ranger XLT with the 3.0. I know nothing about ford, though I've heard from fellow technician friends they can be easier to work on than GM and if it's true this will be a breeze. I was a BMW/ Genesis technician until 2017 when I got hurt in the shop now. I have to do less physical work. I'm also a disabled veteran. My ranger was owned by my former employer. He didn't have room for toys anymore, so he sold her to me. She's not perfect and needs some love, but I'll get her right one of these days. I hope to gain knowledge from the forums and as I know the car community a family of misfits with a common love of vehicles. Thank you.
