Icon10 This place is costing me money!

Hi everyone...

Im Mike, I live in Saint Louis and i just bought my FIRST FORD RANGER!!! I was thinking practical when i bought my ranger, mainly to pull my Seadoo and be a little more capable as far as hauling around my huge hockey bag, golf clubs, etc. However, after coming across this forum and reading some of the incredibly informative posts (not to mention seeing a gang-load of cool Rangers) im inspired,..and thinkin project!!

Today, while conducting my daily craigslist walk through, I found a good price on a set of 33x12.50 R15 Parnelli Jones Dirt Grip tires on Cragar Soft 8s and decided to go for it...Thus starting my project truck. So, from what I have read it sounds like i should be able to get away with a 3" BL for the time being, with possibly some minor trimming. Im fairly new to this so any input, advice, best practies? im all ears!! Thanks for my new favorite place on the internet!

Welcome Mike. You should be able to find everything you need to know here. Got any info on your new ride? Those are some sweet tires you got, how much did you pay for em?

Now a lift kit and then get to the interior changes, those should be relatively inexpensive.

I'll likely order my BL tonight. Any thing I should be aware of before hand?

Make sure you get the shifter extension if you have a manual tranny. If you have an auto then you should be good to go with just the lift.
