started out in a small garage in Imperial beach in the late 50's. It had a dirt floor no air just wrenches n sockets. If I remember right I think flat rate was around $2 bucks an hour. I was also in the navy and was aviation sheet metal mech. I got out of the wrench business because it was a low paying job then. I have been working on all my stuff since then, and dont use dealerships unless absolutely necessary. The ranger is the newest truck I have ever owned, and I dont mind asking questions or ask for help.
A little follow up, the plug that I took out looked like electrode had been sharpened. the second one I took out 3 days later looked the same way. I think it might be plugged injecter, because a few months earlier I got trouble code lean bank drivers side after I started it and let it idle for over 5 minutes. Anyway I will fill it with chevron supreme, add some injector cleaner and some acetone to see if it clears it up.
