Introduction

Hello all, thanks for having me.

I am a newer member of the forum, and new (to me) Ranger owner. I purchased a 1999 Ranger XLT, 4X4, extended cab, step bed, powered by the 3.0, 164,000 miles. I am in the process of going through the entire truck, fixing everything and doing thorough preventing maintenance to make it my daily driver. This forum has been invaluable so far with much discussion about the common problems other Ranger owners have experienced. That coupled with the tips and tricks that make Ranger ownership even more enjoyable is much appreciated! I have already learned a lot about this truck and have learned a few lessons along the way. Any questions, feel free to ask!

A little about me:

My name is Mike. I am a Master ASE Certified Heavy Duty Truck & School Bus Mechanic in Michigan. I have over 10 years experience in those fields and enjoy it. I solely maintain a fleet of 21 School Buses as well as my own project bus and now my new (to me) Ranger.

Hope all is well with you and yours, and look forward to great discussion!

Mike.
