Hi Ranger fans! I have owned two since 1997 ('94, '04) and I am buying my third today (2011). The two previous were both 4.0 V6 4x2, this one is also 4.0 but 4x4. This will be my 5th 4x4, I am not a stranger to 4-wheel-drive.

First modification will be a grill guard or brush guard, as they are interchangeably called, but more specifically for me it will be intended as a DEER guard. My '04 was destroyed the week before Thanksgiving when Bucky leap out from the shadows into the road less than 100 feet in front of me on an interstate highway.

I have decent welding skills with MIG and Stick and intended to build my own. Any suggestions or recommendations would be welcomed. Point out some home built guards on the forum if you know of any.
