Welcome to the forum
1993 was first year of 2nd generation Rangers
1983-1992 1st gen
1993-1997 2nd gen
1998-2012 3rd gen
2nd and 3rd gen parts are usually interchangeable the 1st gen Rangers were a bit smaller
1993 engine computer will be OBD1, Fords 60-wire EEC-IV, you can read codes using a short jumper wire and counting the Flashes of the CEL(check engine light), very easy to do, once you know how.
1995 and up Rangers got the 104-wire EEC-V it uses OBD2, just FYI
Engine sensors and wiring changed with the computer, so 1995 and up parts may not be compatible with 1993 engine
