Just got started

Hey All, am restoring a 1987 Ranger 2.9L 4 X 4. Have lots of questions and not much experience working on trucks. Will be redoing breaks and ball joints in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks for the welcome.

Check this out:
http://(https://www.ranger-forums.co...splay.php?f=43
Thats the how-to threads, just click one of the four main threads to be taken to a sub section.
However, i checked. There isn't one on Ball joints. However I as well as many other members are Mechanics and have done these things before, why don't you create a new thread asking for help with the Ball Joints?

I would like to get some step by steps on upper and lower ball joint removal and replacement. I'm totally new with 4X4s. Fact is I can't seem to figure out how to start a thread. Thanks!
