Ranger #3 in the house
Hello everyone.
As the title says, this is my 3rd Ford Ranger in 18 months.
Bought the first one 1994 Splash 110k, for real cheap and sold if to a friend since it was to tight for me to fit in with my 6' frame.
Bought the second 1999 XtraCab, 114k 4.0 liter auto that was throwing the infamous 0184 codes. Replaced the gaskets in the intake and it ran like a tank. Sold it a month later.
On my new project, a 2001 XtraCab 3.0 5sp. with 148k, Slave cylinder is leaking and the trans is being pulled as I write. Im most excited about this vehicle because its clean and seems to have all the necessary (except the trans) fixes completed. Engine bay is clean and all the bolts are newer and not rusted to oblivian. I'll update everyone one when the tranny is repaired and then we'll see if this is a keeper....
